Coaching
For people determined not to pass their damage forward.
Lōkahi Ola coaching. Mind, body, and soul, trained together.
Mind. Body. Soul.
Where the mind leads, the body follows, and the soul gives direction.
Nothing here works overnight. It works when you work, when nobody is watching, until it works every day.

I’m Guy Valentino.
I’ve trained people for years.
I’ve also carried things no barbell could fix.
That’s why my coaching starts with the whole person.
Mind. Body. Soul.
No overnight promises.
No pretending.
Just honest work and a willingness to change.
If you’re tired of performing fine, tell me where you actually are.
That’s where we start.
I see the pattern under the performance. Mostly because I performed it.
Who this is for
Veterans. Fathers. High performers. People who can out-discipline everybody in the room and still lose an argument with themselves when the room gets quiet.
Your grit got you through something. Deployment. Divorce. Business. Loss. Eighty-hour weeks. The season of your life everybody congratulated you for surviving while nobody noticed what survival was doing to you.
Grit got me through. Then I tried to live there.
Somewhere along the way, the thing that helped you survive may have become the wall you now live behind. From the outside, capable. Inside, listing.
I am not guessing. I ran that program for years. Five-star reviews. The house is another story.
What we actually do
We train. Actual training. Barbells. Breath. Sweat.
The body has an inconvenient habit of telling the truth. I had a lawyer in my mouth. It didn’t help.
Then we take that same honesty into everything else. Relationships. Work. Faith. Habits. The conversation you keep postponing. The thing you do at night that you hoped I would not ask about. The gap between the person you say you want to be and the person who keeps showing up on Tuesday.
We build disciplines that still work when life is ugly. Not retreat disciplines. Tuesday disciplines. And we practice staying instead of escaping when things get heavy.
I once packed my whole life into a sea bag and called it forward motion. So when I say I understand escape, I mean I have driven the getaway car.
How I work
I watch. Not just what you tell me is wrong. I watch how you move. Where you hesitate. What you avoid. What you repeat. What makes you defensive. What makes you disappear. And where your stated values and your actual Tuesday stop agreeing.
Then I listen for the belief underneath the behavior. After that, I ask the question underneath the obvious question.
Call it pattern recognition from a man who spent years being the pattern.
We start with the mind, train the body, and bring the deeper parts of life into alignment so the change shows up on Tuesday.
